Hasan Özçelik, President of the Public Oversight, Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority (KGK), visited Sabancı University to discuss ongoing collaborations in the fields of sustainability, disclosure standards, and training.
Hasan Özçelik, President of the Public Oversight, Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority, visited Sabancı University on December 22, 2025. The meeting, held as part of the visit, was attended by Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Toker, Dean of Sabancı Business School; Ozan Duygulu, Faculty Member at Sabancı University and Director of the Corporate Governance Forum; and Mirhan Köroğlu Göğüş, Country Manager of CDP Türkiye.
The meeting addressed topics related to developing the existing collaboration protocol between CDP Türkiye and KGK under the university's umbrella. During the discussions, it was emphasized that this collaboration could create a foundation to strengthen interaction between academia, public institutions, and the private sector, particularly in the areas of sustainability, disclosure standards, and training.
Emphasis on Human Resources in Green and Digital Transformation
Another key topic discussed was the role of human resources in the green and digital transformation process. The importance of training and the dissemination of sustainability disclosure standards were highlighted, and the need to support the adaptation process of small and medium-sized enterprises to this transformation was particularly addressed.
Sabancı University aims to continue strengthening its collaboration with public institutions and relevant stakeholders in the coming period through its academic studies and multi-stakeholder partnerships in the fields of sustainability and environmental disclosure.
